CoNetrix is honored to receive the 2009 Innovation in Technology Award for its Identity Theft Prevention Program online solution.
The Innovation in Technology Award, sponsored by the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce, recognizes businesses and other entities that stand out as leaders in the synergistic and exemplary creation and implementation of innovative technology in West Texas. The goal of the award is to recognize the impact that businesses and new technologies have had on the region in terms of improving the quality of life, promoting business environment, boosting economic development, conserving natural resources, etc.
Specifically, the award recognizes a business or other entity that has demostratec innovative application of technology and has achieved all the following goals:
- Reach its own business objectives
- Enable its clients or users to achieve their goals
- Positively impact the Lubbock and South Plains area, i.e. by improving quality of life, creating jobs, reduce financial burden to public, conserving natural resources, improving the local business environment, promoting regional business on national and global levels, adding choices, etc.
CoNetrix launched the Identity Theft Prevention Program online tool on March 20, 2008, becoming the first company to provide an online solution to meet the new Identity Theft Red Flags rules and guidelines. The online tool helps Financial Institutions and/or Creditors create an Identity Theft Prevention Program document and customized online employee training. Since its launch, CoNetrix has been able to assist hundreds of financial institutions and creditors in more than 45 states with their Red Flag compliance.
